Happy mood is up again blogging here hahahahahah. It's a innovation bootcamp for all sbm students to train us on having a more enterprising and innovative mindset. I know this camp is gonna be real boring but it's compulsory so no choice i dragged myself to the camp at early 8.30am on both days. The only happy thing is that we can choose our group members of 5/6 so me and my 5 happy girls were in the same group! Better to work as a clique aye. Feeling really unwell the whole morning on day 1 with freaking heavy head and we've to attend a total of 6 hours lecture!?!!! Damn sian but I got better after eating a panadol and some food. Our personal mentor(pem) is lovely to treat our class canadian pizzas during our break how great!!!
At the end of the day 1 camp each group are suppose to think of one innovative business idea and work it out. You know me and the girls were very much the most slack among other classmates and we just don't really bother to do the best job cause we ain't even aiming to win the $150 price. And the speaker of the camp was like 'you guys cfm will have sleepless night cfm work till midnight for this project.' What we did was surf the net for some ideas, anyhow think of an idea and we even decided not to do the prototype of our product. Too troublesome, don't know how to do and we're plain lazy. We didn't work through the night, just sleeeeeeep. I slept at 8pm till the next morning cause i was reallyyyyyyyyy mad tired.

Day 2! Continue to work on our project in class. Oh what's our business idea that we've thought of? AN IDEALLLLLLLL CHOP!!! Ok i can't say much about the features we created for this chopping board cause it's confidential and yknow, business idea cannot be exposed to prevent people from wherever be it near or far from stealing our ideas *smirk face* For you to know this is a unique chopping board. Shanghui was saying our pem gg ong is so good to treat our class pizzas and if we never do up a prototype like so bad and never give her face. And sooooo, off we go to booklink and buy our materials needed. And thank god sabrina brought her own art materials too!! So we had like 2 hours to do the prototype and our powerpoint slide is all done by peiyee, super nice and simply ppt. How success comes about is having a good group bonding! Our group is doing so well with the prototype!!! And next we have another 2 hours for presentation to our pem, group by group in our class. Then to the exhibition at the sports hall where each group have a booth to exhibit.
Our pem have to choose 1 best group from our class to present to the trainer speakers/directors and know what, OUR GROUP IS CHOOSEN!!!!!! Starting to panic and rehearse our presentation so we can deliver the best to them. Our average rehearse presentation time was ard 6 minutes? But the speakers only gave us 60SECS to say about our ideal chop. Like force us to think through our brain and simplify everything we've rehearsed. It went super well and yeah, our pem was saying being over-prepared is good :) Walked around the exhibition to see other's product and some was really great! And i was thinking nah we won't win.
Here comes the final thingy!! The price giving ceremony of 3 winning groups to walk off with $150. Nerve-wrecking. After the speaker announced the 2 winning groups and before he announced the last group, he said "ever since i was married i always have this problem. Whenever i cook, i'll have troubles when it comes to chopping the food...................." AND MY GROUP TOTALLY WENT OMG AND CRAZY CAUSE HE MENTIONED CHOP AND OBVIOUS ENOUGH IT'S RELATED TO CHOPPING BOARD. So finally he mentioned the winning group of 'CLASS BK' WE WENT EVEN MORE CRAZY HAHAHAHAHAH. Cannot describe how happy i was!!!!!! Happy not for winning the cash but because we didn't even put in much effort from the start, we didn't wanted to do the prototype at first and we didn't even aim to win. It's totally unexpected we would have won in the end!!! The whole experience we had is more than the cash we earned. AND GOOD JOB GIRLS!!! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US PLAYS A PART FOR THIS PROJECT AND YOU GIRLS ARE JUST AWESOME. LUBCHU GIRLS!!!

And i've learnt something from all this experience and that is, 'if you never try you'll never know.' This saying is really true :)
